African Bride Magazine

I just finished an incredible shoot for African Bride Magazine!  African Bride USA is a new publication put out by the good folks at African Weddings US.  You can check out their website here!  The images will be used for an 8 page editorial in their October issue.  From the editor: "Our goal for the shoot is to create bridal looks for the bride who would like to combine the elegant designer wedding dress with a touch of African fashion to emphasize the African beauty and tradition."  Clearly, I was an obvious choice for this shoot!  While I'm not at liberty to use the images until the issue has hit the newsstands, I will tell you we had 9 beautiful women in gorgeous gowns with a touch of African awesomeness! Here are two shots from the end of the day, featuring the insanely talented make-up duo.  It just gives you an idea of how much fun we had.
And a big Thank You to the staff of Allisa's Bridal in Brooklyn for providing the gowns, as well as the location for the shoot.

Cleons Pop Art

This morning, I finally got to meet and shoot with Chad Leon of Cleons Clothing Co..  Chad was in from Chicago to shoot his new line, and Model Mayhem got us in touch.  And as it turns out, I shot the male model, Juan Gabriel, in a fashion show last summer.  Katie Ellis is the sexy female model, who came with Chad from Chicago for this shoot.  I can't thank these guys enough–and Chad will second me on this–for braving the cold to get these shots.  It was FREEZING by the water, with an insane amount of wind, but these two did what they needed to do to get some great images for the new line!

Oh La La Magazine just published a series of 12 of my images online: Michael-Kennen Miller in the Battery Park Fountain.  Some of them were previously posted here, but I am posted all 12 along with the story that went with it.

"We started the day pretty early, shooting around the Brooklyn Bridge, and at a nearby construction site. I had been chosen to show some new work at an exhibition, so Michael and I were spending the day shooting for that project. As soon as we finished, and were just walking around, he spotted this fountain at Battery Park. Within seconds, he had changed his pants, taken off his shirt, and we started shooting all over again! This was our third location of the day, and Michael never lost energy for a second. At the end of a long day, he was still flipping through the ice-cold fountain, helping me get some amazing images. What a trooper!"

New York Fashion Week: Boy Meets Girl

Thanks to Model Mayhem, I had the pleasure of shooting this incredible show at Style360 at Elle.com.  Stacy M. Igel, the founder/creative director of Boy Meets Girl had an incredible show starring Jenn Proske (Vampires Suck), and featuring musical entertainment from The Neon Trees.  And Ramona, from Real Housewives New York stopped by backstage.  Check out Boy Meets Girl here!

I shot two shows today at Skylight West: Marisol Henriquez and Romas by Linda Rowe Thomas.  It was a great space for a show, and the PR Director, Ron, let me backstage to get some great shots pre- and post-show.  And starring in both shows was Alex from Real Housewives New York.  First up is the Marisol Henriquez show.
