What a thrill to walk into Barnes and Noble, head over to the bridal section, and purchase copies of a magazine which published an eight page spread of my images! When I had an image published in OK!, it was great; I loved seeing it on every newsstand, knowing I had an image inside. But you had to hunt for it-and once you found it, you had to squint to read my name. But this has eight beautiful pages with eight beautiful women that I had the pleasure of photographing. This was probably the most fun I've had on a shoot, so I'm thrilled to show you my favorites:

African Bride featuring Kevin B Photography: Now On Sale
It's finally on sale, the 2012 issue of African Bride magazine! After months of waiting, it's really exciting to see your photos in print. While I love having my photos published online, there's nothing quite like flipping through the pages of a magazine and seeing your images. And since African Weddings US only publishes one print issue a year, this one was definitely teaching me patience. It's true what they way: the best things come to those who wait.
While I'm waiting to have the images scanned and uploaded here, as well as my Facebook page and personal website, here are the images being used to promote the magazine online. Enjoy!

African Bride Magazine
I just finished an incredible shoot for African Bride Magazine! African Bride USA is a new publication put out by the good folks at African Weddings US. You can check out their website here! The images will be used for an 8 page editorial in their October issue. From the editor: "Our goal for the shoot is to create bridal looks for the bride who would like to combine the elegant designer wedding dress with a touch of African fashion to emphasize the African beauty and tradition." Clearly, I was an obvious choice for this shoot! While I'm not at liberty to use the images until the issue has hit the newsstands, I will tell you we had 9 beautiful women in gorgeous gowns with a touch of African awesomeness! Here are two shots from the end of the day, featuring the insanely talented make-up duo. It just gives you an idea of how much fun we had.
And a big Thank You to the staff of Allisa's Bridal in Brooklyn for providing the gowns, as well as the location for the shoot.
