Alex Manenkoff for Artillery4Men

The generous folks at Artillery4Men were kind enough to send me some samples to shoot, and Alex Manenkoff was kind enough to respond to my ad!  I posted a casting online and got a response from a guy who has only in town for a couple more days but wanted to shoot if we could make it work.  He sent me a couple pics, and I knew he'd be a great fit, so magically, our schedules lined up the afternoon before he was to leave NYC to head back to school.  So here is Alex Manenkoff for Artillery 4 Men.  We were able to get a lot more images which will be up here soon!

Chad Sapp for Bunker 4 Men

I shot with Chad about a year ago, so when I posted a new casting for Bunker 4 Men, I was thrilled when he replied.  And what's even better, is he responded to my Craigslist post, so he didn't even know he was submitting to me.  So I received an e-mail from a male model ready to work, and he included some images from his portfolio, including a couple I took.  I love knowing that the models I shoot with actually use the images we make together!

As I mentioned before, the folks at Bunker 4 Men were more than generous to me, so I've loved capturing some great images for them.

Enjoy!

David Penna for Bunker 4 Men Underwear

Ladies and gentlemen, I introduce you to my new friend David Penna.  David responded to my casting on Model Mayhem when I received some great samples from Bunker underwear, and I'm sure you'll agree that he's a great model wearing some great briefs.

Thanks to the guys at Bunker for supplying the product, and to David for bringing his A game to the shoot!
(and while I'm sure you're all noticing there's a guy in briefs on your screen, take a second to check out that perfect bone structure in his face!)

The Haynes Running Manual

Last Spring, I had the pleasure of shooting with two fitness models that had posted on Model Mayhem, looking for a photographer.  They were both based in the U.K., and were here in New York to meet with some agents, as well as get some photos for a book the male model wrote.  It's a manual on running, and the published suggested that they get some images in the States, so that the book didn't only appeal to people on the U.K.

I responded to the casting, we set up a time to meet, and had a blast capturing the images you can see below.  I have to admit, it was really exciting getting a package from the publisher, with a note that said "sent at request of author."  It was this beautiful, hardcover book with my photographs all over it!

Here are some of my favorite pages from The Haynes Running Manual.
*the cover image is not mine, but I wanted to show what the book looks like.

Manuel Curmi for Male Basics

I had a shoot set up with Manuel Curmi for Tommy Hilton underwear.  Right before he came over, I received a package with some samples from Male Basics.  Since we had a few minutes after our shoot, I asked him if he'd mind shooting a couple teaser pics for Male Basics until I was able to have a casting and do a full shoot.  Here's what we came up with!

African Bride featuring Kevin B Photography: Now On Sale

It's finally on sale, the 2012 issue of African Bride magazine!  After months of waiting, it's really exciting to see your photos in print.  While I love having my photos published online, there's nothing quite like flipping through the pages of a magazine and seeing your images.  And since African Weddings US only publishes one print issue a year, this one was definitely teaching me patience.  It's true what they way: the best things come to those who wait.

While I'm waiting to have the images scanned and uploaded here, as well as my Facebook page and personal website, here are the images being used to promote the magazine online.  Enjoy!

Boy Meets Girl: Behind The Seams with Stacy Igel

It's always a pleasure shooting an event for my friend Stacy Igel, founder and creative director of Boy Meets Girl.  This time it was the wrap party for Boy Meets Girl: Behind The Seams with Stacy Igel.  Stacy, Michelle, and her entire team are a blast to work with, and I hope I can be with them for many events to come.  Stacy is the queen of social media, so make sure you keep up with everything she's got going on for Boy Meets Girl on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Tumblr, and anywhere else you can find her!

The celebs at this event included JP Rosenbaum, my girl Orfeh, Sabi, Mob Wives Carla Facciolo and Ramona Rizzo, Miss New York Johanna Sambucini, and Miss Teen New York Sabrina Mastrangelo.
